Studies in experiential learning attest to the transformative power of  immersion experiences.  Heritage Retreats is a seven or ten-day immersion experience for unaffiliated college students and young adults, which enables them to explore their Jewish roots. Students come from all over the country, to a relaxing retreat center in beautiful California, where they can explore their Jewish Heritage from a refreshing new perspective.

The retreat setting provides individuals the time and space to step away from their busy lives, to experience deep reflection and high-level learning, as well as develop community leadership skills through a Jewish lens. At Heritage, students learn with renowned educators and participate in diverse activities, which helps them appreciate the joy of community building and what it means to lead a connected Jewish life.

Over the course of each session, participants take ownership of their Jewish identity and begin a journey of life long Jewish learning and community involvement.
